This notice explains how Digital Design handles information submitted through this website and the choices available to you.

Digital Design is the controller for personal data collected through digitaldesign.ie. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@digitaldesign.ie.
When you send a project enquiry or request a website audit, we collect the name, email address, website URL, service interest, message and form source you provide. We do not include full IP addresses or user-agent strings in ordinary enquiry records.
The site also uses Matomo analytics to understand page visits and interactions. Hosting and security systems may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site.
We use enquiry details to respond, assess an audit request, discuss possible work and take steps at your request before a contract. Where applicable, we also rely on legitimate interests to keep proportionate business records, secure the website and understand whether its content and enquiry route work effectively. We do not sell enquiry data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Relevant data may be handled by the website hosting provider, email or SMTP provider, the internal enquiry-capture system and Matomo analytics. Each receives only the information needed for its role. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where required by law. If a processor handles data outside the European Economic Area, we require an appropriate GDPR transfer safeguard.
Enquiry and audit-request records are kept while follow-up is active and then reviewed periodically, at least annually, so information is not held longer than needed. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant records may be retained for the duration of the relationship and afterwards where contract, accounting, insurance or legal obligations require it. Security and analytics data follow the shorter retention settings of the relevant system.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission. We do not use enquiry data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
